Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for Pagem?

All accounts begin on the website with our free registration process. You must create an account on the website before using the mobile app. Simply click the Sign Up link to begin your registration.

You will be asked to enter your name and email address.

Then you'll be asked to create a password that contains at least 11 characters, including 1 lowercase character, 1 uppercase character, and no more than 3 repeated characters.

Once your password is accepted you can login and complete the account setup wizard, as well as verify your email. Note, if you don't see your email validation code in your inbox, please check your spam folder!

Once you're logged-in, you can download the mobile app from the Google Play or Apple App Store and connect it to your new website account.

How do I invite people to page?

From the Dashboard you can invite people by email or by sharing an invite code or link. Email invites will send a notification to the recipient with your name.

Each person you invite must create their own free account on the Pagem website and install the mobile app in order to send and receive pages as well.

What are Organizations?

Organizations allow teams, businesses, departments, and other groups to manage paging from a shared workspace.

Members can be invited by email or join link and assigned roles such as Owner, Billing, Manager, or Dispatcher. Roles determine what members can do within the organization, while paging can be enabled or disabled independently for each member.

Organizations can create groups, manage paging assignments, and control who receives pages. Members with paging enabled count toward the organization's paging subscription.

To create an organization, first create your personal Pagem account. You can then create an organization from the sidebar. New organizations include a free 30-day trial.

If you're invited to an organization, you may create your Pagem account using either a personal or work email address. The email used to sign up becomes your login email and will be visible to others you connect with.

You can switch between your personal account and any organizations you belong to using the context switcher in the sidebar.

How do I change Pagees or cancel my account?

Visit the billing screen on the Pagem website to change your number of paid Pagees, or to cancel your subscription altogether.

Note, this can only be done through the Pagem website.

Is Pagem HIPAA Compliant?

Yes. Pagem is designed to support HIPAA-compliant use cases and is actively used by healthcare organizations for operational communications and care coordination. Here's how:

Business Associate Agreement (BAA)

A formal BAA is available to all healthcare customers regardless of plan tier. Contact us at support@pagem.com to request yours.

Encryption

All page content is encrypted in transit via TLS. Message content — the only field possible for PHI — is protected with field-level encryption at rest.

Notification & Paging Controls

Organization administrators have granular control over how pages are composed and displayed. Discreet Mode, configurable at the organization level, suppresses page content from appearing on device lock screens and full-screen alerts — ensuring sensitive messages are only visible to authenticated users. Administrators can enable Discreet Mode org-wide if their use case or compliance posture requires it.

Audit Trails

Pagem maintains comprehensive audit logs at the organization level — capturing who sent pages, who received them, who acknowledged or declined, what the message contained, and all administrative configuration changes. This gives compliance officers a complete, tamper-evident activity record.

Remote Access Control

Since Pagem does not store page history on the device, removing a user from your organization immediately revokes their access and eliminates local data exposure — no device recovery required.

For more information or to request a BAA, contact us at support@pagem.com

Can I download or delete my data?

Yes, Pagem is fully GDPR compliant.

Through your account Settings on the website you can download all the data within your account, as well as delete your account.

What information do you collect about me?

Pagem asks for your name and email address. Nothing more.

When you elect to purchase additional Pagees, our payment processor (stripe) will ask for your credit card information which Pagem does not see nor retain. The system also keeps track of your history of activity within the app for your Recent Activity screen.

What about Integrations?

Both Email Paging and the Pagem API is available for free for the first 30 days on any new account.

After 30 days we charge an additional $1 per month for each additional Pagee for maintaining access to our Integrations (minimum one additional Pagee is required).
